About

Small tools that keep the work on your device

SILENT MAJORITY is a collection of focused browser utilities for files, text, data, images, and developer tasks. The project is maintained in Japan and is designed to work without accounts or file uploads.

Why offline-first

Many everyday conversions do not require a server. When browser APIs can complete the task safely, keeping the input in the current tab reduces unnecessary transfer and makes the workflow easier to repeat.

Hosted pages record only aggregate actions described in the privacy notice. Downloaded standalone tools do not send analytics requests and can be kept for later use.

How the collection is maintained

Each tool has one primary job, explicit input limits, local output, keyboard-accessible controls, and actionable empty and error states. Generated standalone pages are versioned with their source so releases can be reproduced.

The project does not publish invented download totals, ratings, testimonials, or popularity claims. Public counts represent recorded download requests, not unique people.

What to check before relying on a result

Browser tools are useful for routine preparation and inspection, but they are not a substitute for professional validation in legal, medical, financial, forensic, or safety-critical work. Keep an original copy and review every generated file before sharing it.
